We're all about providing the best sailing instruction in Arizona, including ASA Sailing Certification.  No prior sailing experience is necessary!

Our popular ASA 101 Basic Keelboat certification sailing lessons consist of approximately four hours divided for lecture, review and taking the written test, followed by an additional nine to ten hours of on-the-water sailing instruction.  The entire class is usually split over a two day period.   

Sailing instruction is available all year long.  In addition to the certification classes, we also offer regular sailing lessons and refresher/practice classes to help you remember/improve your sailing skills.  Additional classes such as sail trim and advanced sailing techniques are also available.

Sailing lessons are held at Lake Pleasant, located just outside Phoenix, Arizona. From I-17 travel North to SR 74, go eight miles west to 87th Avenue and then one mile north. Entrance is at Pleasant Harbor.

Sailing Arizona was established in 2007 to provide outstanding sailing instruction for Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding metropolitan areas.  Our emphasis is on providing safe, thorough, hands-on instruction, by an experienced certified instructor.
